Carndonagh Football Club want you not only part of a team but a wider club community who are striving to obtain one goal – to be the best we can be with the resources that we have available.
We support the hard work that our volunteers do, day in day out in the club and the wider community. We as a club want to use our social media platform along with club photographs and club videos to showcase, what we do best which is football to people who may not currently be involved with our club. Past players living away or to those whose family members have emigrated and would like to keep up to date with their family and our wider football community. To ensure we make this happen, when you become a member of the club you agree with the following:
I as a club coach / volunteer / parent / player am aware that my or my child’s photograph or video image may be taken whilst attending or participating in games or activities connected to the club and I consent to it being used by the Club for items like match reports, event reports in media outlets such as but not limited to newspapers or also on the Club Website , League websites or Social Media channels. The club has recently appointed an Club analysis and their use of a video camera (VEO Camera) to enhance training methods and provide analysis of previous games to further improve the coaching experience for players. By becoming a member you agree as a club coach / volunteer / parent / player that you consent to have the VEO Camera record yourself or your child.
- Furthermore by agreeing to this policy, as a club coach / volunteer / parent / player you consent that in the case of the older teams in the club such as the senior men’s and women’s teams, all teams in the club from the age group U16s and older that in media outlets such as newspapers or also on the Club Website, League websites and Social Media but not limited to them, the names of all the club members who are participating (club volunteers, coaches or players) may be used.
As well as that, after the games have concluded, for these teams, the video content if recorded by cameras such as the VEO Camera but not limited to that, will record the matches not only for training purposes but to promote the club online, this footage may be uploaded online to the club’s social media pages including the clubs social media channel to promote the clubs matches with names mentioned in video content such as but not limited to goal scorers for example. - I as a club coach / volunteer / parent / player am also aware that my or my child’s name may be used in activities connected to the club and I consent to it being used by the Club for items like match reports, event reports in media outlets such as but not limited to newspapers or also on the Club Website, League website or Social Media channels.
- I as a club coach / volunteer / parent / player understand that I can withdraw my consent at any time by writing to the Club Secretary and requesting my consent to be rescinded.
